About Michael Poll

Michael Poll is a Chartered Accountant with more than three decades of experience advising businesses, business owners, and individuals on a wide range of accounting, taxation, and business matters.

After graduating from the University of Auckland with a Bachelor of Commerce, Michael began his professional career with Price Waterhouse in Auckland before moving to London, where he worked for Touche Ross (now Deloitte). Upon returning to New Zealand, he gained valuable commercial experience in a number of accounting roles within publicly listed companies.

In 1992, Michael established his own accounting practice, driven by a passion for helping businesses succeed. Over the years, the practice has grown into a trusted advisory firm supported by a team of qualified Chartered Accountants.

Michael specialises in business services and advisory, providing practical, strategic guidance to clients across a broad range of industries. He works closely with business owners to improve performance, manage growth, navigate challenges, and achieve their long-term objectives. His focus is on building strong client relationships and delivering advice that is commercially sound, proactive, and tailored to each client’s circumstances.

Outside of work, Michael enjoys a variety of sports and is a particularly keen golfer.
